The head of state conducted a visit to meet with national troops in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the operational headquarters of the first unit of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Intense Situation in the Area

Recent mapping from a local initiative showed that Russian forces had pushed further into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it lacked clear dominance by either side. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and enhancing fortifications in some districts.
