The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
